Hello,
I started at Northwestern's post-bacc program in 2009. The school is expensive, no doubt. I was unable to make it work during the summer doing the accelerated Chemistry because my commute was two hours each way and I was only able to work weekends (not enough cash coming in). However, the program is phenomenal. Obviously the school sort of speaks for itself. The classes are intense. I recall the course being out of 750 points and the curve wound up being 350 points was a C I believe. It was that difficult. However, you did really learn the material. They tell you at the beginning that their Chemistry department is one of the best in the country (which is true) and that medical schools would rather see a B from their program than an A from a school with a less recognized department. I don't know much about Berkley for comparison, I'm sorry.
