that was one of the friendliest schools I been to.... the interview day is composed of 7 sections:
#1) they do a presentation of the school
#2) you are given exactly 10 minutes to do a small writing portion. Its very basic and not related to dentistry. They just want to make sure you know how to conduct a complete sentence. Example would be "tell me what your favorite non-school activity is" or something that easy
#3) you do an actual interview. It will be you vs 2-3 people at the same time. One of them will be a faculty member and the other 1-2 will be 3rd or 4th year students.
#4) Case scenario with Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown is one of the nicest and easiest people to talk with. Basically they call you in 1-by-1 to his office. He'll present you with a 1/2 page prompt about something (ethical) going on in dentistry. And then you will discus what you feel about the topic with him. There is no right/wrong answer, its all hypothetical stuff. They want to see if you can come up with a justified answer and you are able to back it up.
#5) Then you do a tour with a few dental students, they will show you the labs, you will get to meet and talk to many of their students. HUGE PLUS: EACH STUDENT GETS THEIR OWN CHAIR during 3rd and 4th year.
#6) you have lunch with them. That roast beef was soooo good
#7) you are dismissed
