SO I wrote the American DAT today and it didn't go as well as planned..

PAT 21, QR 14, RC 20, Bio 19, GC 18, OC 14 --> AA 17/TS 17/ PAT 21

I also wrote the Canadian DAT last year...

PAT 19, RC 21, Bio 20, GC 16, Carving 14 --> AA 19/TS 18/PAT 19

I have a 3.59 Cumul GPA and 3.57 Sci GPA. My AADSAS application is complete (minus one LOE) and has been recieved by all schools.

All the schools that I've applied to will be getting my American DAT scores. Should I send them my Canadian ones as well??

I'm just not sure what to do, I really messed up the DAT and I can't stand the thought of taking a year off and reapplying...

I would really appreciate some honest opinions - do I still stand a chance??

:scared:

Nobody really wants to take a year off but many of us do. Good luck

your gpa is good, but not great. i dont think many people get interviews with 14s. address your weak areas and retake, but dont rush because this should be the last time you take the DAT.

Go to the websites of the schools you plan to apply to, and make sure they accept the Canadian DAT. Most schools will, but there are a few that don't.
