I have posted the same questions in non-traditional forum but no respond. I hope to get some in here. I just finished my Genetics class yesterday and I had a feeling that I might get a B or B- for the class. This is my first B after a year of post-bach classes. I don't know whether this will hurt my chance to apply for dental schools in the future since my undergrad gpa is already low. I am wondering if there are anyone in here recieved a few Bs in their postbach and how did you deal with it? Did adcoms question you about the Bs when you applied to dental schools? Thanks

can't really say anything about your situation because i haven't been in it, but i got a B- in a physics class, which was a 5 credit hour class, and I got a B in my genetics class. i am not a traditional science major, so when i screw up in science classes, the effect is amplified on my sGPA. don't worry about getting a B, or even a B-. if you have succeeded in other classes you'll be fine.

Look on Predents, most post bacc GPAs have a lil nick in them. Don't sweat it. Its all about that final nice round number. If dental schools stressed out about B's we'd have previosu few dentists!

Are you kidding me? Dude you'll be fine. As long as your post-bacc GPA is higher than your undergrad GPA, you'll be solid. Don't kill yourself over little things.
