Feeling uncertain, should I delay test date?

Here is my situation:

Half-way through DIT
1000 questions left in Uworld (averaging 50%)
Took NBME 11 today, scored 380/196

1 week until exam.

What should I do? Am I going to pass?

I disagree. Don't delay the exam.

This USMLE forum is getting pretty ridiculous - when all the threads you see are "why am i not breaking a 250?" or "is 260 too ambitious?", the average person won't bother posting or asking a question, because all the replies you get are from people who have NO clue what it's like to be someone who's only trying to PASS this thing. Believe it or not, a lot of people out there only care about passing.

OP, if your goal is to pass, then you are in good shape if you still have a week. One week is a long time. Do Pathoma and Uworld. Keep doing that until the last minute and I can't see why you won't be able to pass VERY comfortably. More importantly, look at the topics you missed the most questions in and at least try to finish all those respective questions in uworld.

If you don't mind me asking, how many questions did you miss on NBME 11?

Delay! You don't want to take the exam unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure that you can get a decent score.

Someone said on this forum before: it is easier to explain to residency directors why you delay 3rd year rotation than having to retake STEP 1

Delay man...im in a similiar situation...been scoring around the same 196 on nbme 12 and 13 (and my exam was scheduled for June 22)....decided to get pathoma and gonna do uworld again....

Definitely delay your exam, nothing worse then having low score or even worse having failure on your transcript.

100% delay! I think NBME predicts your score +/- 10 pts so you need to make sure that you will for sure clear the passing mark

Don't flirt with failure on this test if you have the option. I wouldn't be comfortable with passing the real thing without scoring at least a 205 on a practice. Too many variables on real test day that can throw you off...
