Im a DO first year resident and I want to pursue neonatology in the future, but my step 1 is 215 and my step2 was 235. Does anyone know if these scores will hold me out of fellowship? Any neonatal fellows out there with similar stats?

No, it will not hold you out of fellowship or even a fellowship at most places. Focus on doing well in residency and gaining the trust and support of a neonatologist or two to write letters and your PD. There are lots of neo fellows with similar stats, they may not be on SDN however.

My scores are roughly similar and this is what I have heard from my advisors, but I'm still glad to hear it echoed by @oldbearprofessor
