Fellowship differences

This will probably come across as a silly question, but I was wondering about the specific differences between a Pain and Interventional Spine fellowship? Is pain inclusive of everything an IS fellowship does with peripheral injections? I've seen various pain fellowships including emg, but have seen IS doing that also. Looked on different program websites to see various program' curricula, but I am still unsure. Any thoughts from fellows in both places and attendings on differences of scope of practice and day to day differences?

i was wondering the same thing about the two different fellowships at VCU they seem parallel, one ACGME the other not. If you have some beneficial information or explantation, I would appreciate the post..... thanks

any updates on the differences (aside from the obvious ACGME and not)between VCU fellowships & in particular the fellows experiences; i-spine v acgme pain.
