What days of the week are fellowship interviews for uveitis programs?
Any knowledge would be super helpful - trying to plan logistics and vacations for this coming academic year.

Hey Zeke, I obviously don't know the answer, but usually PCs are super nice -- if you call up a few programs and ask, I'm sure they'll tell you when they're planning to hold interviews! I suspect it'll be pretty variable, but at least that way you can get a sense of what your favorite programs' dates are.

These were the interview dates offered for the 15-16 application year for uveitis

Truhlsen Eye Institute at University of Nebraska Medical Center - Thursday Oct 29 8 am -1pm. Dinner the night before.


Eye Disease Consultants/Connecticut Uveitis Foundation - They are willing to see you on any day that works for you. You do a phone interview first and then if still interest arrange for an in person interview where he asks you to bring surgical videos.

Proctor Foundation/UCSF - Originally Friday, Oct 30 730am -3pm but then was changed to 10/9 due to the program having conflicts with Mass Eye and Ear. Dinner that night optional if you're in town. Were willing to see you on a different date if you needed.

National Eye Institute - Mondays Oct 19, 26 and Nov 2 - asked for two dates that worked for you

Mass Eye and Ear - Friday 10/30 "morning to midday"

Icahn/Mt Sinai -Thursdays Oct 15, Nov 19

Wilmer - Friday 10/2 8am - 3pm

Northwestern - Thursdays 10/22, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19 8am-5pm

Dr Foster - Any Wednesday of your choice. You follow him for a 1/2 day then he sits down with you afterwards.

OHSU - Mondays 10/19, 11/2 745am - afternoon
