Hello all. I'm currently a Junior in High School with grades that will get me into anesthesiology if that is what I choose.

1) I haven't taken Biology since my 8th grade year. Generally in my school it is taken in 9th grade so I am worried that, one, I wasn't taught as much because I took it a grade earlier then the other kids, and two, that I forgot a lot of the stuff I learned. Is this going to be a problem when I enter college?

2) How much of the "Blood and Guts" of surgery/doctoring do anesthesiologists take part in?

3) I've heard that there are a good amount of job opportunities in this field. Is this true?

4) When did you know that you had what it took to be an Anesthesiologist?

I understand these questions are a bit silly but I would greatly appreciate whoever can answer them. I'd also like to let you all know that I think it's awesome what you guys are doing here. Ty
