1) Does anyone know of newly planned construction of DO schools in the country? which? where? is there a formal listing?

2) Why, on average, is it more money to attend DO school than MD school?

1a. Pacific Northwest, in Yakima, just broke ground. 1st class allegedly Fall '08.
1b. Rocky Vista in Colorado, which is for-profit and consequently controversial. Also Fall '08, I believe.

2. Public DO school tuition is entirely comparable to public MD school tuition, and private DO to private MD. I looked at the published data and was fairly surprised to find this - I thought DO was higher as well. There are a lot fewer public DO schools.
