It's not in first aid or goljan .

Just surprised that such a prevalent condition is not in either of these review books (and fire ants are in goljan?).

Is it not considered a "real" condition or is not enough known about it to be testable?

i had a kaplan question on it, this is what i took from it....

Fibromyalgia - widespread musculoskeletal pain that improves with exercise, fatigue, headaches, painful trigger points upon palpation of the trapezius and lateral epicondyle of the elbow (buzzwords), no signs of inflammation, normal lab values. Patients seem to respond well to TCAs, specifically look for amitryptiline. If that is not option, skeletal muscle relaxants with strong anticholinergic properties are also used.

A Uworld question I just did said that muscle pain and stiffness are more severe after exercise. It agreed w/ everything else you said though.
