Hi,
I just wanted to make a petition or possibly make a court case with the abandonment in the grade replacement policy made by AACOMAS. I know that many people are still in favor of grade replacements and immediately implementing the new change without a least a 2 year official warning, in my opinion, was unlawful. Many students(especially non-traditionals) have spend years to work on this cycle and lots of money to fix their GPA. Given a policy change without a far in advance notice is unfair for many students. I feel the tragedy of the many students hopes that were shattered, but maybe if we stand up to this, we can make a change.

Unlawful is quite a stretch, but I do support keeping grade replacement.

I was fortunate enough to have applied this current cycle, but didn't utilize grade replacement. Although I don't necessarily disagree with the policy of eliminating grade replacement (those who do better the first time around should be rewarded accordingly) my heart really does go out to those folks who spent years taking coursework in hopes of utilizing the policy. Such a terrible thing they did. With no notice? Truly despicable IMHO. To be honest, I don't think a petition will do much, but FWIW, the principle still stands, and I vote yes.
