Fill in your profiles

I just wanted to convey that filling in your profiles would be so helpful when trying to determine your backgrounds. When ever anyone posts something on this board and I want to figure out if there statement has any backing, I try to read their profile. The problem is that almost no one has the profile filled in. Having the profile would also help us to direct questions to the proper people.

I know anonymity on the internet is nice, but a little background would be nice too.

I agree, but I doubt that is possible. People can't go too long without judging you according to what class you are in, what school you are from, and how much experience they think you have or have not. A cocky 2005 OD doesn't know more than a 3nd year OD student who may also be an MD, PHd, etc. So until this group of people grow up I don't think it's gonna happen. I like your idealistic view though.

I'll try to get around to doing this soon. I think its a good idea, but I understand most people like to remain anonymous.
