Hi.
Hey guys. I graduated with an sGPA of 3.815 and a cGPA of 3.824. I have been having an upward trend since freshman year and finished strong in the last 2 years. I applied to a Masters's program before applying to medical schools because I thought I was not ready for medical school as I only decided to prepare for medical school starting in my Junior year of undergrad and I wanted to explore other options in my field and get some research experiences.

Due to Covid-19, I had to halt my clinical volunteering and did not have non-clinical and shadowing hours. I was able to do a virtual shadowing amidst the pandemic but could not do any volunteering for the sake of my family's health. I am planning to continue my hospital volunteering and fill in non-clinical hours doing food-pantry and helping out the underserved communities in the few months left before I apply.
Would this look bad on my application, or are the adcoms more lenient on the extracurricular hours because of the pandemic?

You’ll be fine I think. At least you are making the effort to get the expected experiences. Do get some in person shadowing, especially with a primary care doc. Good luck.

Sorry, I just saw the reply. Thanks for the support. I have talked with my volunteer advisor at the hospital I volunteered at prior Covid-19. I have to look for doctors to shadow, but I am hoping it will come by.
