Fin Aid Apps...too long!

anyone else feel the fin aid apps are lonnnnnnggg? how long did it take you to complete FAFSA? they ask me so many questions that im not even sure about right now. how long did it take you guys to fill everything out? ucla has like 3 or 4 different applications!!

UCI- was really easy, just the FAFSA and a quick form and tax returns

UCSD's was a bit long but not difficult.

I think the toughest is when you have to do the FAFSA and the "Need Access" thingie or whatever for private schools.

Yeah the need access form is terrible. It took me several weeks to fill it out because I would do one part then get to the next part and realize that I don't have the info so I would have to go find that info and then go to the next page only to find that I need more info. The fact that the form won't let you go forward unless you fill everything out on the page made things even worse. So frustrating.

Yeah seriously, dont even complain about the FAFSA until you do NeedAcess. 😡

If you want to go to Cornell, then do it. That way if you get of the waitlist you'll be able to get your financial package right away and that will help you make a decision.
