Hey guys,

How do schools know that you finished your last degree?

Do they just look at your final transcripts, or do they request more information? What if it is a graduate degree?

Thanks

Final transcripts show degrees conferred. Doesn't matter the level. So yes, you need to wait until after your degree conferral date (usually graduation for Bachelors/Masters, but may be earlier for PhD) and then send the final requested transcripts.

Sometimes the conferral of the degree comes so close to med school matriculation that a letter from a suitable university official is necessary for confirmation.
