Hello all,

I think it is safe to say that I am a very non-trad applicant for dental school. I graduated in '12 and started working. I am currently starting my second year with AmeriCorps and I finally have time to study for this test. I originally started studying for this test summer of '10. I think this might be the 5th time I "buckled" down to take this test. I would say I was prepared the first time, but life happened and I was in no position to take the test. So here I am a "veteran" DAT enthusiast.

I have all of the materials I feel that I need for this test. DAT Destroyer, Chad's videos (which have been updated through the years), 2 Kaplan Books, extensive notes, Biology: The Science of Life (audio book for my hour commute) and finally Crack the DAT.

My question to all of you is, has there been major updates to the test over the last few years? I have been searching the internet and have not found anything substantial. Also is there new materials I should be looking into? I have my Destroyer from '11 that I have practiced through at least 5 times, unmarked. Should I get a new one?
On an AmeriCorps budget my resources are limited, so shelling out a few hundred is possible for crucial resources.

I would personally use DAT bootcamp if you can. I thought it was the best thing I used to study, especially for the PAT. I took my DAT yesterday.

Yes DAT BC is money when it comes to trying to crush the DAT. It is especially great for PAT with all its generators. It helped me with all the trouble I had in the PAT section, especially with TFE, keyholes, and pattern folding.

I will look into this. I have always been pretty good with the PAT, I have not practiced in years. So I will definitely look into this. Are their other sections similar to the DAT? (not too easy/or too hard)
