You can get the Netter application for the iPod now: http://www.raybook.com/catalog/product.php?title=Netter's Anatomy Flash Cards for iPod: Complete Set
It'll be available for the iPhone in July.
Who wants to stare at stuff on a tiny 2.5" iPod screen?
Two words: iPod Touch. 🙂
iPod Touch is not supported.
Personally, I can't wait for this application to come to the iPhone. 😉

Oh, you mean this one:
1) Clicking on your link shows that an iPod Touch is not supported.
2) An iPod Touch has a 3.5" screen. I was specifically referring to the older 2.5" iPod Classic models and earlier.
Well, then...I agree with you.
How do I get it on my iphone?
what they heck were they thinking!?!?!?!?! not compatible with the touch😡
Yep, its expensive.
First, you'll need to install iTunes 7.7 (out Friday). Then you'll need to install the iPhone 2.0 Firmware update (also out Friday). Then you'll have a program on your iPhone called "App Store" where you'll be able to purchase and download programs for you on your phone.
Because the iPod Touch runs completely different software than other iPods. Despite having "iPod" in the name, it is MUCH closer to the iPhone in terms of design.
Software for the iPod is not compatible with either the iPhone or iTouch. But, its compatible with the iphone😕 uhmm.....am I missing something??
Software for the iPod is not compatible with either the iPhone or iTouch.
Software for either the iTouch will work on the iPhone but not all software for the iTouch will work on the iPhone because of requirements to be on a cellular network.
If you look at the AppStore and under All iPod Touch Applications under the right hand side and navigate to the page containing N you will see that Netter is supported for the iTouch.I know all about the compatibility issues, I'm not an ipod newb. netters is for the iphone, check. almost all iphone/ipod touch programs will work either way....netters is for the iphone, but not ipod touch....see the issue in question?? I highly doubt that the reason it doesnt run on the touch is because its not a cell phone like the iphone is
Or you can just go to the preferences settings (under the iTunes menu item), enable applications by checking the box, and then clicking the applications tab. You can then click "see more apps" to see all the apps. The App store is live, you can DL Netter for the iPhone/iTouch. Got my copy cost 40 beans. They also have netter neuro anatomy.
To get to the app store (If it's not listing when you try it) go to the iTunes store search for AOL, click on the AIM program and at the top of the iTunes window hit the app store tab. You will be good.

Netter for the iPhone/iTouch
Also under requirements on the right hand side of the netter page it says it will work on both the iPhone and iTouch
I was going off of some website selling netter flash cards for ipods, which says its not compatible. I should have checked apple first.....I have been ashamed, put in my place and corrected. My sincerest apologies. How dare I call myself an apple fan
By the way, it's an iPod Touch, not an iTouch.
So what is the verdict? Is getting netter's on the iphone worth the 40$? Is it the exact same thing as the actual netter flash cards?
Were you able to get one... I got to the Albany Apple store on Friday at 7:30, doors opened at 8. I was about 100-150 in line and I didn't get into the store until about 9:40.Sold out. =/

I was in the Mall on Long Island on Sunday (today) and there was STILL a line for the iPhone about 75 peeps deep. Now that is impressive.
Over all I love the new iPhone, the GPS is sweet (can't wait for turn by turn directions tho.) The only problem I have is syncing my MobileMe info over the air like an exchange server but I suspect I'll have that figured out in a little while, I just haven't had the chance to play with it yet.
I know about having to have a MobileMe account, I've had a .Mac account for the past five years. For some reason my iPhone wasn't pulling the data from the cloud but it was fixed on its own. Had to delete the account and reinstall the account and it works which is sweet.Ordered mine from an AT&T store. Should be here in a few days.
Syncing stuff via MobileMe requires you to setup a new account in Mail, then you'll see a screen that will ask you what stuff you want synced OTA (Mail, Calendar, Contacts, etc..). Then push should be working.
Now the only thing I wish was better was the selection and menu changes, I seem to remember on iPhone 1.0 when I would select something it would be a bit faster but this is a .0 release I have no doubt that Apple will sort it out and everything will work the way it is supposed to.
It's hard to add features, which makes the operating system much larger, and not compromise speed. Usually larger operating systems are countered with faster CPU's.
The more features the iPhone has, the slower it will get. It's still pretty snappy in my opinion.
