It seemed to take forever but after 5 weeks and 1 day, I'm finally verified. Here are my final dates:

Submitted Application: 9/17
Active: 9/24
Verified: 10/30

I also took the MCAT in August so I will let everyone know when I start hearing back from schools that have screened secondaries. If you're still waiting to be verified, don't worry too much if people are getting verified up to 10 days before you even though you have similar active dates. That's right. Here are the advantages and disadvantages of pre and post verification:

Preverification:

Advantages - No rejections possible; maximum optimism 🙄
Disadvantages - Checking e-mail several times a day; high annoyance factor 😡

Postverification:

Advantages - Annoyance gone; can actually start interviews 😛
Disadvantages - Potential flood of secondaries and even rejections 😱
