Finally got a 20 on a crack the DAT PAT.

This was a big step in the right direction for me since my first 4 scores were:

#1. 18
#2. 18
#3. 17
#4. 17
#5. 20 (88.5 %)

I hope i can do that well on the real pat.

I have been getting 19,18,18,18 until the fourth test. ANy hope to get 20 on the fifth?
How did you improve? Did you go over all the problems in previous tests one by one?

I think the later ones are easier or something, I dont know if I actually improved this much, I dont really go over the answers after the test. I might look at a few in each section. The angles are really what brings down my score on Crack, and im not sure how to fix this... Good work breaking 20! I hope we both do really well on the real thing.

My angle ranking and hole punching improved, those were the two sections that were holding me back. I'm getting better at those just by sheer practice I guess. Good luck on #5

any suggeston for the pattern folding, I do not get those, the puch is ok for me as well as the angles. the hardest is the pattern folding and the TFE, any technic?

are you guys doing a little everyday for the PAT section or are you taking the practice tests all at once? thanks!

I do one practice DAT per day, as far as technique, I don't really have any tricks. For TFE I look for features in one view that would stick out in the one I am looking for.

I am really really really hoping the real PAT is like Crack. The angles for me is the most variable section. CC, hole-punching, key are always nearly perfect, and usualy 1-2 wrong on TFE or pattern folding. I agree with the angles, anyone have any tricks for the angles?? I'm out of Crack tests to take. I just bought achiever though, which I've heard the PAT is insane.

You should expect a 22-23 on the DAT. As long as you don't tank it, get flustered, etc. Just use the same strategy and you'll be fine.
