Well, they definitely suck.

We've got:

Thursday: Dental Morphology
Friday: Pathobiology
Monday: Biochemistry
Tuesday: Histology
Wednesday: Growth and Development

Then i'm done and will drink beer like it's going out of style.

12/13 -Epidemiology
12/14 - 1. Periodontology 2. Oral Pathology
12/15 -Medicine II
12/16 -Anesthesiology
12/17 -Radiology

Boo, can't wait till exams = no more.

For me:

Today: Complete dentures (just finished, in fact)
Tomorrow: Integrated monthly exam #5 (includes fixed pros, pathology, dermatology, radiology, treatment planning)
Friday: Comprehensive PBL final (includes information from all 10 cases this semester)

This coming Saturday: Move into pimp new apartment

Next Saturday: Get married 😱 😱 😱
Sunday-Thursday: Honeymoon 😀 😀 😀

Not far, just down to Greenwood. It's a little more evenly distanced between Franklin College and IUSD. Plus, the new place is a lot bigger (1225 sq.ft.) and a little nicer than the place I've got now. We'll just have to watch out for stray golf balls flying in from the fairway just off our balcony.

Congrats on surviving your first semester of dental school! Just think, you only have to put up with this seven more times. 😉

tuesday -- ethics (hardest test this semester 😕 )
wednesday -- micro and dental anatomy
thursday -- waxing practical
friday -- histology

this week = beast of beasts

So, basically, if you slack off a little during the semester and then try to cram for finals, you are a screwed.

P.S: Our exams were in the week before Thanksgiving, SO this means that we do not have any exams now and all we are doing are sealants all day and partying all night! 😀

wow i can finally breathe now.
its alos very good to hear from all the good old peeps here on sdn. seems like i havent talked to you guys forever. anyways, my finals are overrrrrrrrrrrrr and i dont know how i made it through without any sleep. we basically had an exam every other day for the past 12 days (including a comprehensive PBL exam). i did ok untill the last few days. i had a lot of cramming to do and honestly i went with 6 hrs sleep for 48 hrs.

the good news is, i amgonna do nothing but sleep, Football, and watch the Lakers.
cant wait to fly to Los Angeles for 2 weeks. Let the clubs/bars know i am coming. LOL
 
Craming for a Histology exam. Does anyone have a good Oral Histology website, or even general histology for that matter?
 
 
One more left this afternoon at 1 PM (Dental Implants), then I'm done with my 1st semester 3rd year! Our whole entire class will be going to a TGI Fridays for happy hour, yes, we will be under the influence!

Thursday, I'm off back to north to Minneapolis, MN and I start my OMFS externship on Monday, the 20th for 3 weeks. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....HOWWWWWWW!

Man, I can't believe I'm half done with 3rd year already! 😱 Back to notes for Implants (the dental kind).
 
I might be done with Histology ... unless of course I made like a 12 on the final.
 
I'm done.....................I can't believe it. Ten days ago, I was asking myself how I'm gonna live the next 10 days. And I was absolutely clueless. Now that it's over, I really don't want to look back. But I'll post my schedule to join the club.

Tue 12/7 RPD test case final
Wed 12/8 Mini assessment (RPD & Fix)
Thurs 12/9 Path Lab practical
Fri 12/10 Fix Pros test case
Mon 12/13 8-11am: Path comprehensive exam (100 Qs)
2-4 pm: Pharm
Tues 12/14 9-11 am: Local anesthesia & Pain Control (Dr. Malamed book)
1-3 pm: Perio, caries risk assessment

It was a marathon of test. But it feels great when it's over. I'm one quarter closer to my DDS degree. That's of course will be sweet.
 
Congratulations to everyone who is finished. I’m a mere 29 hours away from my last test and permanent, irreversible liver damage.

Done ... I'm officially done with my first semester ... the best part is that I get to come back in the spring ... Not that I was close to failing but oh well

Now it's time for a 4 hours nap and then a night of jagerbombs and flaming dr peppers ...

Man that first post-final cold one is always the best 😀 Now I'm off to Vegas for my bachelor party. Hope I make it out of there in one piece. Congrats to those that finished and to those that aren't, hang in there. The light is at the end of the tunnel.
 
Yup, we're done! I even got a 4.0! I was sooo happy! Good job to everyone who made it through. How did we do it? I am still trying to figure it out....

yeah, just hope that light is not from a train, which is coming straight at ya :laugh:
