Financial Aid for Post-Bac Programs

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
if you're thinking about a hard-science masters (not an SMP), ones in biological or physical sciences tend to give a lot of financial aid (in the forms of research fellowships or graduate assistant positions).

Most financial aid will be funded through loans. If money is really an issue, an informal post-bacc at your local state school may be your best bet. As for myself, I pay out of pocket, but Im only taking 2-3 classes per semester and tuition is dirt cheap. (YAY CUNY!)

i've actually been thinking about applying to cuny... Can I ask you a couple questions about that...

How big are the class sizes? Is there a maximum number of courses you can take there as an unmatriculated student? Are you pre-medical or pre-dental and what classes are you taking?

THANKS!
