How and when are financial aid packages distributed? Do you get all you need for a year at once or is it split up by month? Also how to you decide how much you need?

Mine were delivered sometime in August and comes in 2 disbursements m, one for each half of the year.
Advice for the first year is to take out more than normal to figure out your budget. Better to have more than not enough to pay for rent and food.

Im waiting on a acceptance for another school. Should I fill fafsa now for the acceptance that I already have?

For sure, you can always add and remove schools after. The faster you do it the better.
