I will be starting pharmacy school this fall. I am 28 with wife, 3 kids, and mortgage. I was planning on working as much as school allows me with my current job that offers tuition assistance, BUT my company is going to be acquired by another company sometime this summer. No one knows if the tuition assistance policy will change. I don't want to be left with a huge bill and no assistance!
I just received my financial aid award notice. My questions are: What happens if I accept a student loan, but it turns out that I still get tuition assistance? Will I be penalized or will I just not be eligible for loans next year?
