Hi all

OK here's a question alot of applicants are prob all wondering....HOW THE HECK DO WE PAY FOR IT ALL??? 😳

I see that the average cost of going through 4 years of dental school is approximatly 200 grand. Just wondering do school generally give out grants to bring down that cost a bit? Also, what is the average debt that students have after graduation and how long does it take to pay off that debt generally? How much do new dental school grad made in terms of salary?

thanks•••••unless you come from a rich family or just won the lottery, you're gonna have to take out loans....stafford loans give you a max of $38,500/year and then there are other loans that are available like the Health Professional Student Loan, DEAL (dental education assistance loan), etc. Also some schools have scholarships for people but you'd have to check with the individual schools you're applying to. Usually you get about 10 years to pay it back (some loans give you longer at different interest rates of course).
