I will be filling out my faafsa (or whatever) in January.
Do what smack does...send it in first thing, to every school you think you might even remotely think about going to. You'll get the cream of the crop then. If you wait, you might end up getting crappy loans etc. Even if you don't end up going to a school, no big deal, they just chuck the info. anyway.

I think the deadline for a lot of schools is MArch. Fill it out in January for all the schools you got into, MIGHT get into, and Hope to get into. If you have 0 denials by January 1st...fill out FAFSA for all the schools you applied to.😀
once you get accepted i think most schools give u 45 days to let them know ur decision (correct me if i'm wrong) for the december 1st date, here's my question... if u fill out the forms right whne u hear from all ur schools will u hear back in time about how much financial aid is offered before u have to make a deposit and decision on a school?
