Question about the FAFSA-sorta confusing:
I am not accepted into any dental schools at this point but I have two interviews coming up. I am a senior this year and I will be graduating this spring and I PROBABLY won't be taking any classes after I graduate this year. I most likely will not know if I am getting in anywhere before the end of Feb. Do I still fill it out even though I am not sure if I will be going to any sort of school next year? Additionally, if I graduate this spring will I be considered an independent for next year should I decide to take classes but not get into dental school? And finally, I know that I can file as an independent if I were attending dental school but can I file as an independent now without knowing 1. if I will even be going to school 2. If I do go it may just be to take more classes 3. I may be going to dental school but I have no idea where that is going to be yet other than narrowing it down to the schools I have interviews at and those schools who have not gotten back with me.
Any help would be appreciated. I am going to meet with a financial aid rep. next week but with all the people on this forum, someone my already know the answer to this or went through it themselves. Thank for in advance for any and all help.
