I predict that nurses will absolutely hate working with you. Or you could try to learn something that makes your future more bright.
Put yourself in her shoes. Think. How many students are at your school? That's how many people are harassing her for information, and criticizing her for policies that she can't possibly have had any vote on, because she gets paid about $12/hr, and because of budget cuts she's doing the job of 3 people.
Or, maybe she just sucks at her job and doesn't care if you ever get your money. You will meet 1 million more people like that who are between you and what you need. You can whine every time for the rest of your life. Or you can learn skills to make people like helping you. Being polite and expressing gratitude is a good place to start. It makes no difference at all whether you think they deserve it or not.
Such as in working with the nurses in your future who can either make your job a breeze or pure, unending torture.
Any financial aid office that is functional right now is functional despite a massive, national rewrite of the loan laws at the last minute last spring. Kind of like if they changed the MCAT format and content the week before your test date. And then there's budget cuts, so there are fewer people to get more work done. Financial aid work is about as fun as working for an airline right now. Count your blessings and thank your parents that you don't have to do either.

Whilst I won't go to the extreme midlife did, i do think you need to rethink things yiot. all you do is whine about financial aid, or finances, or money, or what job is your wife going to do. It kinda gets old after awhile, and i'm sure people are getting sick of hearing the same broken record over and over again
