So I was just wondering if anyone with more experience could answer my question:

For your undergraduate school loans...do you have to apply for an in school deferment even though you are enrolled in medical school?

For Grad-plus loans do you have to fill out an in school deferement?

Thanks for your help!

Hmmm, I don't know. I know most medical school financial aid offices will tell you the same thing: "Do whatever you can possibly do to make sure your undergraduate loans are paid off before entering med school."

I talked to my undergrad's fin aid office and they said that they handle it for me. I suggest you call yours. It is a pain but helps.

Find out whether the medical school you will be attending uses the National Student Clearinghouse.

If they do, the deferment process is fairly automatic unless you notify your servicer that you want to continue making your full payments or just interest payments. If they do not use the Clearinghouse, you will have to fill out a deferment request form and obtain enrollment verification to send in with form. Contact the school's Finacial Aid office for details.

hahaha Because $80,000 just disappears like that.

I started graduate school and all my loans somehow magically knew to defer them... none of them bothered me to start paying [But I think my school informed them]

If your undergrad institution doesn't do this for students just get the names of your loaners and send them a verification of enrollment once you start medical school with a deferment request. That'll take care of it.
