Hey everyone,
I was just wondering how you all have dealt with paying off your loans. My first choice pharmacy school, MCPHS is over $30,000/yr and I know that I'll have to take out loans to cover most, if not all of that, plus living expenses (unless my boyfriend decides to make me his wife... *hint, hint* 🙂 ) Anyway, my question is, with over $100,000 in debt after the end of the accelerated program, how have you all dealt financially with paying that off. Has it been difficult, or have you found that paying loans on a pharmacist's salary is easily doable.

Also, where you live, what have you found to be the average starting salary for a pharmacist. I live in Central NY now, but there's always the possibility of relocation after school... if the numbers work out (for me and my boyfriend).

Thanks for all your help everyone. I can't even tell you what a valuable resource these boards have been!

You may wish to pay a visit to the financial aid forum. It includes this and other related questions from Pre-pharm, pre-dent, and pre-med students, as well as recent graduates trying to find out the same thing.
