Has anyone heard anything from them? I recieved the secondary back in august and sent it back a couple day later. Since then it has been nothing. I noticed that no one has recieved an interview on the Official Interviews thread. Do they not interview until later in the year?

I'm wondering the same thing, but I think I heard that they have begun interviewing students already. I'm actually going to call them tomorrow so I'll let you know what they tell me.

if you go tothe secure webpage where you got the secondary, you can check the status of your application.

this will eliminate your need to call, also, you can schedule your interview online. this is helpful since they give you a one month limit from the time they invite you during which you must have your interview.

they also send a letter the same day, but the website is faster. i didn't get my letter in the mail until a full week after it was posted on the website. which sucks, since then i only had 3 weeks to schedule a flight/interview.

well i emailed finch the other day and they said interviewing starts at the end of october/early november. i am assuming the early interviews are for students in the applied physiology program during sept and early october.

I also submitted the secondary in August to Finch. I received an invite to interview by mail about a month later in late September. At that time, they only had 3 interview dates available to choose from: October 29, 30, and 31st. I'm under the impression that they have not yet started to interview.

do you mind sharing your stats? or if you're not comfortable sharing, are they above or below their average of GPA 3.5/ MCAT 29

My GPA is slightly below their average, while my MCAT is above their average. I am also from the Chicago region. I am not applying through their AP program. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

yeah....i turned in my 2ndary back in august...and still nothing. From my conversation with the Adm Office, they've started interviewing.....

i'm calling them tomorrow, so i can post again afterwards....😎

so i talked to finch about 10 minutes ago...and all i got was a "my file is complete." The guy also said that they have started interviews, and that my file had gone to the committee for review. That's about all....

🙄 kinda annoying, but it's all good........

Finch gets like 8 to 9 thousand applications per year, so it does take a little bit of time for them to read over your folder when it gets sent to committee. Patience is virtue.

finch doesn't screen. it's the world's easiest secondary "write your email address here:___________"
