Finding a DO to shadow in Southern Cali

Happy New Year's guys!

Does anyone know of or recommend a specific D.O. physician (to shadow) in the Southern California region (near Pomona or Riverside area)? One of my pre-med friends is trying to find a D.O. to shadow, and I thought it would be nice if someone could suggest a physician. Please PM me. Thanks!

Yes. Check out ucsdsoma.net and click on 'resources', then 'DO directory'. These docs are willing to have students shadow, and there are instructions as to how to contact them. I put this list together when I was in the club last year, and I found that all it usually takes is a phone call to their office, and they are happy to have students come in. These docs are all in the San Diego area, so if that's too far for you, I reccommend just going through the phone book and call random DO's. Good luck.
