How did you find your first job? Any resources you found useful during the third yr of residency?

Try the ACEP chapter website in the state you are looking for

Chances are you know someone who knows someone where you want to go. The EM community is surprisingly small. If you find someone who knows someone, ask them for a letter (or e-mail, expeditiously) of introduction. They can at least tell you about the general "climate" of the regional market even if they don't have specific job leads for you.
