I took the DAT this past Tuesday and thought I'd post my scores and impressions about the test.
Here's my scores:
Biology 20
Chem 19
O Chem 23
PAT 20
Reading Comp. 21
QR 14
Total Science: 20
Academic Average: 19
I used Kaplan, DAT Destroyer, TopScore Pro and Crack DAT PAT. DAT Destroyer and Crack were my favorites and seemed to help most with the actual DAT. Overall I felt the test was fair and reflected my understanding of the material (Gen Chem and QR are definitely my weaknesses).
For those of you still studying, I really recommend taking off work/school and dedicating 4-5 weeks of solid study. Its impossible to predict what questions will appear on your test, so the more practice the better! The DAT is definitely doable. Staying calm is important.
Thanks for all those who take the time to post comments here on SDN. Good luck for those yet to take it, and let me know if you have any specific questions about the test.
