Hello all - I complain a lot I know - ha ha - but I'm super nervous -

I just about finished qbank - the highest score I got was a 70 on a random block - ONCE!

I have mainly upper fifties and lower-mid 60's as my random timed block scores - um... am I even going to pass this beast?

How the heck can I raise my score?

I'm going to buy USMLEworld in a couple days and get going on that - I have just under 3 weeks until the big day!!!

you probably just have to study the material better. take a couple days off and go through all the material again. if you got first aid down, there's no reason to still be scoring 50s.

From what I hear if you're in the 55%-60% range, you'll pass. The national average tends to be about 60-65%, so that's probably around a 215-220. According to medfriends, a 59% on QBank is a passing score , so you should be okay.

As an aside, I'm getting the same scores right now, mid 60's on systems tests, mid 50's on random blocks, and from what I've observed on this board, so are a LOT of other people...

Best of Luck!

I quite QBANK 10 days ago and I will never go back. My overall was 58% correct after about 900 questions which I started during spring of second year. I have been using WORLD for the last 10 days and I took form 2 from the NBME today and got a 232 (560). I wouldn't worry too much about it. QBANK is very detail heavy. Focus on the big picture and you will be fine.

Ditto. I actually finished QBank with an average of 62%. Then I started USMLEWorld (about a week ago). My average there is 78% after 700 questions. Qbank is way too nitpicky.
