Well all those who would like to know, I just finished the DAT last night at 6:00 and it wasn't bad. I realize my scores aren't in the 95%tile, but for no more than the two weeks I studied I'll take what I got.
AA 20/ TS 20/ PAT 20
Gen Chem: 20
O-Chem: 22
Biology: 19
Reading Comp: 20
QT : 18
PAT: 20
Overall= 90th %tile
This test is very manageable and is what you make of it. I was scoring 16, 17's, and 18's on DAT achiever and 19's on topscore, so you can use that as a comparison. DAT achiever is an amazing test/study tool. I remember seeing many of the similiar answers in bio questions so buy it and memorize both correct and incorrect answers.
Like I said perviously, I only studied for 2 1/2 weeks straight, 12 hours a day for 6 days a week. I never referred to one text book or went into much detail, all one needs is the basics. All I had was the Kaplan blue book, Barrons guide, KSF review, DAT achiever, Topscore, and Kaplan subject tests that I had recieved from somebody else. The key is to due as many tests as possible, this is where most of the learning comes from.
Not many have mentioned the KSF review which is downloadable online like the DAT achiever. This is an amazing study tool, for both the PAT and actual DAT. I suggest buying the two PAT sections they offer, it is very similiar to what's on the real PAT, except for angles. The angles killed me on the real one, much harder than DAT achiever! I was scoring 23's on topscore and only scored a 20 on the real thing, and it was all because of angles (if you think your good at them now wait until the real one).
Good luck to all of those who haven't taken it yet!
