I did not finish college (financial support reasons) but plan to soon, and then plan on taking all the premed classes (sciences, maths, English's)

My main question is if I have enough credits to finish quicker/cheaper getting a BPS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_studies) from a state school vs. getting a BSBA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bachelor_of_Business_Administration) from the exact same school, would that impact the application process as a non-traditional student?

"oh he has a BPS instead of a BSBA" type of thing?

Yeah, as long as you have good grades and the prereqs, I don't think they care what letters your degree has.

I wish I had done Art History instead of Engineering, my GPA would have thanked me. If you are sure about medicine the best way to look at it is, which one will better prepare you for medicine? The guys I see crushing med school early in first year had great backgrounds in hard science with bio, genetics, anatomy, sports physiology, etc. Things level out as you go along, but starting off that strong is a huge bonus.
