First Aid enough for Behavioral Science and Micro?

Is First Aid enough for both of these sections (especially behavioral science where it seems the consensus is FA is not enough to prepare you for the tough ethical questions faced on Boards) , or do you need to supplement micro with CMMRS and behavioral science with BRS Behavioral Science?

I personally believe CMMRS is invaluable. Even if FA has all the info it's just going to be rote memorization if you try to study from it exclusively. CMMRS gives you handy tips on understanding the bugs, but it does take some time to go through.

For behavioral science I've just started the kaplan lectures. I like them a lot but there are a lot of them and I can't really tell if BS is worth all that time. Everyone keeps telling me not to neglect it, but it feels like (and this probably my naive outlook) it's not all that hard. Famous last words, huh?

I would highly recommend using either brs or hi-yield beh sci. They are both excellent and quick reads. Would FA be fine? Yes, but either of those two resources would help. Brs has questions, which helps.

Most beh sci (and stats) questions are plain gimmes. I spent a weekend in the spring sester studying both then half a day during my devoted step 1 time reviewing notes. Good luck!

First Aid is generally not enough. You should supplement with the books you mentioned.

I used microcards - thought it was overkill. In retrospect, most micro questions were giveaways based on history and you didn't actually have to know much micro. I liked hi yield micro.

Micro Qs are prob one of the only Qs that can still be answerd by "Buzz Word" ... i made my own flash cards using 1st aid and going over Uworld .. your better off doing that .
