First Aid enough for Psych and behavior science-development

I have very little experience with phych and human development. Our path class is throwing it in at the end of our class in 2 weeks and it seems a little disorganized. I was curious if you guys thought first aid was enough for these two sections? If not, what books would you guys recommend.

I think Kaplan's behavioral science book is well written and easy to follow. I also liked High Yield Behavioral Science. It was a quick read. My school didn't teach behavioral science at all and briefly covered ethics. These two books were very helpful to me.

BRS behavioral is good too, same author as HY. I has more text making it a somewhat longer read, but it also has lots of practice questions which is a plus.

kaplan homestudy or lecture notes?

I actually am using the kaplan homestudy. I like it alot. HY BS is good, but it's too brief to read while going thru course work for the 1st time. I think it'll be a good review once I finish classes. As of now I'm going thru the kaplan + FA and I like it a lot.

I used the lecture notes. I took Kaplan a few months back and had Daugherty as my lecturer. He was pretty amazing! I would recommend watching the Kaplan videos for behavioral science.
