So it's only the first quiz and not worth much but they made it 9 questions. In my mind this is a planed way of making those who only miss one to not have an A. I sure more evil morale breaking will occur.

If you're already working under the assumption that your school is working against you, it's going to be a long 4 years...

It's more in jest. I still find myself getting more excited about getting to go through this than the fear of it.

Just wait until you have 50 question exams determining 33% of your grade...:laugh:

Wow!!! I'd like that very much!

try 80 questions for 100% of your grade 🙄

Unless you also have block scheduling, I dunno if I'd wish for the grass on the other side so fast...

But I feel your pain OP, med school in general can just suck at times, no matter what is thrown at you. Just remember, getting in is essentially the hardest part in terms of success rates. It gets more tolerable the further along you go!

P = MD

But I know what you mean, I just found out our first biochem quiz tomorrow is only 10 questions. urgg

50 questions for 100% of your grade in a class 🙂

Beats polling a bunch of tired residents and attendings that you've interacted with for 5 minutes to determine 70% of your grade

my first biochem quiz was 3 questions and over the semester theres only 4 of those quizzes and they total 10% of the grade...miss one question and get a D!

they aren't?

I got lost somewhere in the nonsense about how they want us to think about the big picture and work as a team, but yet they will be sure to have grades and class ranks. You're better off thinking the administration isn't on your side, lest you get too comfortable and say something to them that they might hold against you later.

Haha, well, not every school ranks (or...I suppose if you include Yale, grades, lol).

I wish I had quizzes! All we have are test blocks.
