First mailing date?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Does anyone know when the first mailing date is? I heard mixed things, June 23rd or July 1st. Which one is the right date?
Thanks

i have never heard that it was july 1st, only jun 23rd ( my money is on 23rd)

I was also wondering this...

And at what frequency are the applications sent out?? My GPA has yet to be verified and its looking less and less likely that its going to be ready in two days...

Just talked to AADSAS. First ones are sent out June 24th then shipments every week.

Do they only mail it out if EVERYTHING is complete ie LORS are in, GPA is calculated etc. or if i were to submit on Thursday night its good to go out?

applications are only mailed out once they are complete. you have to have submitted your application, all LOR's, all transcripts, and AADSAS needs to have processed all of your material and calculated your GPA. once all of that is done your application will be mailed with the next group they send out. it's best to complete and submit your application as soon as possible.

Actually I think they will mail out your app without your LORs. Once you submit your LORs after they send your application, they will forward the LORs to the schools. But everything else you need to have in, transcripts, DAT scores, and GPA calculation. Actually I'm not sure about DATs, they might send it and update it once they receive your scores.

DAT scores are mailed out separately if they have to be, but if you have already taken the test then your scores will be mailed out with your application. if you take the test later, then an update will be mailed out when your scores are received. LOR's do have to be submitted and processed before they will mail your application. you will receive an email notification from AADSAS when you application is completely processed and ready for mailing.

No they do not.

Q: Does ADEA AADSAS hold up the processing of my application until my letters of evaluation are received?

A: No. ADEA AADSAS does not delay processing if we have not yet received any or all of your letters of evaluation. If your letters arrive after your application has been sent to the schools, ADEA AADSAS will forward those letters to your designated schools in the next mailing that occurs after their receipt.

i stand corrected. this must be a newer change. this is my fourth time applying and i can tell you from past experience that this was not always the case. i had my application delayed one year because my letters were not received and attached to my file.

I'm a first-timer, but I think it's some (or maybe all) of the schools that don't consider your application complete without letters. For AADSAS, it's complete enough to process and send out to schools without. I like breaking out this graphic:

Kind of fuzzy, but it reads: ADEA AADSAS does not delay the processing of your application if letters of evaluation have not been received. Letters of evaluation received after your application has been processed are forwarded to schools in the next mailing.
