Hello everybody! I'm going into my first semester as a pre physical therapy student and I will be registering for my classes this week! I know this is the pre med forum, but you guess are way more active than the pre physical therapy program and I need some feedback quickly! I was hoping I could get some feedback from everybody on the classes I am considering taking my first semester.
First year foundations-2 credit hours
General biology 1-4 credit hours
Chemistry 1- 4 credit hours
Chem 1 lab-1 credit hour
Intro to psychology-3 credit hour
Weightlifting-1 credit hour
I'm a first generation college student so I'm not really for sure if this schedule is too hard or not for my first semester. Thank you for helping me!

Only you can know for sure how you will handle that course load, but I've been taking 18-20 credits each term while maintaining a 4.0 so it can be done.

Bio, Chem with Lab and intro psych is a good start to college. I'm assuming First Year Foundations and Weightlifting won't require a whole lot of time so I think you're good!

Sounds like a good place to start. use this first semester to get used to things, develop strong study habits and learn how to balance work and play. Find a support system. If your school has resources for first-generation college student mentors, etc. use them. If you start to slip, use the tutoring center. It is not a weakness to use all the resources to get up to speed.

Looks good. As a side, I had no idea colleges offered weight lifting for credit...

Me either! I needed one more credit hour so I could keep my scholarships and I thought it would be a good choice since I planned on lifting 5 days a week anyways!
