First Semester Grades?

I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but do most schools ask for first semester grades. I, like many of you guys, have been away a lot for interviews and its most likely going to have a bad affect on my grades. For schools that let you know in February or March, do they request first semester grades? Let me know what you guys think.

good question! i want this one bumped up until there's some responses. . .
hehe, biochem is kicking me all over the place. i asked my premed advisor
and he said they probably won't ask. . .hm, probably? i don't know. . . 🙄

bad news...

From what I hear, if you are still in undergrad and are applying... then you have to send your transcript (unofficial usually) to the schools that you are applying if you are still under consideration...

so if you havent heard anything from the schools, then you have to send them a transcript because that falls under the "under consideration" pile... 😡

I think some places do ask. It was actually on one of my secondaries (forget now which). Somthing about "you are responsible for sending grades completed within the current semester at the first available date." I think it can matter if your grades drop severly. I"m sure they understand that people are flying all over and it's not so easy to keep up right now.
