  1. Pre-Medical
My first semester at college just ended. I go to Stony Brook University if anyone's wondering...
I got all A's and A-'s (Math, World Politics, Writing, Studio Art), but I got a B+ in Bio 201, which is ecology to be specific... Overall, my GPA is 3.76.
Am I fine or should I be worried? I'm an international student so getting into medical school is going to be even more of a challenge than it already is for everyone...
My main fault was the fact that I didn't take things like clicker quizzes too seriously since the concept of having things other than just the mid terms and finals to look after is new to me.
I know I can get my GPA up to the 3.90 mark in the next two semesters with a fairly tough course load...
Overall, I'm not freaking out or anything like that. I'm just asking for tips, critique, comments, etc.

Cheers

Get as close to a 4.0 as possible while achieving in other areas of life at the same time.

My first semester was a full point below yours. You're definitely on the right track!

My only recommendation is that you take the small assignments seriously. 🙂

Good luck!

1. It's a 3.76 man, quit being so neurotic. Your fine.
2. You are at a US four year institution, there is no hindrance to your application because you are from another country.

Good job.

That's a great start.

But don't miss out on stupid points like clicker quizzes, participation, attendance etc.
