Hey Guys I am new on here!! I am taking my DAT for the first time in the summer of 2014. The materials that I am using so far is as follows: PAT- Crack DAT PAT, Sciences and Math - DAT Destroyer, also using some text books which are the Campbell book for biology, the carry text book for Orgo, and the Chang textbook for Genchem.
My question for some people on here are what they recommend for reading comprehension?

Ok thanks new bee, also is Kaplan good for reading?

Well Kaplan teaches you a methode of going through the passages. Which is read the entire passage writing down key words/points in each paragraph to build a "map". You then use your map to answer the questions. If you like this technique you can practice it with DAT Passages or science articles from journals like Cell, Nature and Science.

You definitely have some great materials to work with. For RC, you can use CrackDAT or read of article per day of WSJ, NYT, Forbes or Scientific Ameican. Anyone of those will do.

For those that use destroyer books which I am a huge fan of, is there a specific way that you guys go through them to make study time most effective?
