I took my first Topscore test yesterday and the orgo section on Topscore wasn't what I expected. I know all the reactions by heart, but Topscore focuses on things like nonemclature, alot on sterioisomers, and concepts. These are the things that I did not focus on very much when I study orgo...is this similar to the real DAT?
I was wondering...what were your scores when you took your first Topscore test? Mine was AA=17 PAT=18, i know i can improve dramatically once i get used to it. I'm taking the test on April. Any tips to push me forward?

It is about half and half. I took the real thing again today. I had how many chiral centers, two nomenclatures, most acidic hydrogen, most stable carbo, one amino acid question dealing with protonation, extraction questions which solvent separates a carboxy acid from an aldehyde, diels alder, and a reaction with five sequential steps to get the answer. BTW, my first topscore I believe was a 19AA and 20 PAT. After Topscore, use DAT Achiever. It saved me for the hard sciences I saw. I actually saw two identical bio questions.
