Is it better to live with people your first year or to live by yourself? I thought dorming was a big part of my undergrad and it really helped me transit into college. Should I expect a similar experience in dental school?

I'd recommend living with a classmate. It's nice to have someone that's on your same schedule and then you are both less likely to miss something. It's also gonna be cheaper- Win win in my book. However if you're a weirdo or get stuck with one, that changes things.

Well you probably wont be home much. So why pay $200-400/month more to live on your own?
