Roger Chou was lead author on the controversial and deceptive guidelines published in 2009 referenced in paragraphs 117 and 118 of the complaint, but he was not named in complaint. I wonder if he was paid to the work or received any compensation whatsoever for his efforts?
Saying something true (even if it is mean) is not slander.
Writing something true (even if it is mean) is not libel.
I'd be cautious to try and not use legal terms of art when you are not sufficiently informed to recognize that there is such a definitional distinction.
