We interviewed in batches of four students per shift and interviews lasted all day. My best guess would be around 30 students being interviewed on my day.

Yup, same here...groups of 4 and all day. I interviewed at 9:30 am, left around 11:00 am and i saw at least 20-30 kids while I was there. They must have interviewed 50-60 kids on the 26th alone. Im just happy i got accepted. Glad to here you made it in and are attending. Good luck to those that are still waiting.

so did anyone else recently get accepted and going to attend FIU?

I interviewed on Feb 12th, got accepted on the 24th, and will be attending in the Fall. I was really impressed with the department and its affiliation with the College of Nursing. Anyone know of any places to live in Miami?!

Well i was born and raised in Miami. I actually did my undergrad at FIU. If anyone needs any advice on places to stay, let me know. Also, im curious where everyone is from originally and where everyone did his/her undergrad.

I am from Tampa. I did my undergrad at FSU and my pre-reqs at USF. My undergrad degree is in Marketing and I am going back to school for a career change.

Hi Winnie, I will be going to FIU in the fall and would love to have any advice you can give me on places to stay in Miami.

Your best bet would be to stay somewhere in Kendall...its predominantly latin and relatively inexpensive compared to most of the suburbs in the city. You can find decently priced apartments or houses (whichever you prefer) a little west of the campus and the drive isnt too bad.

If you guys wouldn't mind could you guys state your stats? what type of questions were asked at the interview?
