hi,my uncle has upper full fixed denture bridge for the past 10 years
now he has pain in his 2 molor..........dentist took periapical x ray there is a deep caries .my uncle was told by dentist that there will be root canal.........
now dentist is confused either he will do surgically root canal in order to perserve upper bridge beause uncle can not efford another bridge or make a hole on occlusal surface of 2 molor.................ext will shake the bridge
any suggestionsssssssss

You have not specified if the bridge extends upto 2nd molar.Anyways, if 2nd molar is included, best way is to drill a hole in the crown & perform RCT,in my opinion.
